The Britz Safari 4WD is our very first roof-top tent model featuring automatic transmission; built on a mix of Isuzu D-Max and Toyota Hilux chassis.
Designed and built exclusively for Britz customers, the ride in the Safari Auto 4WD is smooth and comfortable on the road, with the ability to tackle the tough outback terrain with ease.
Two people can sleep in the roof-top tent, with the remaining three people in the attached ground annexe, on the self-inflating sleeping mats provided.
All our vehicles are fully equipped with everything you need to make life easy on the road
Important information:Travelling to Fraser Island is not permitted. There are also selected roads and areas around Australia that are either not permitted, or you required permission from Britz to drive on.
The Safari Auto 4WD is available to and from Perth, Broome, Darwin, Alice Springs, Cairns and Brisbane, and is only available for travel from 15 April 2023 to 30 November 2023 inclusive. From time to time, we have some 4WD deals from or to Melbourne at the beginning and end of each 4WD season

The Sydney Branch is approximately 15.5 kilometres from the Airport and 25 kilometres from the City. It is accessible by taxi or uber; transfers are not available to/from the airport/city.
There is no customer parking available inside the grounds of our branch, but there is free street parking available on Bay Road.
